Supreme has teamed up with Vans on multiple collaborations over the years. The new one is a throwback to the Sid Pro which was originally done in 1995. Yeah, I had todo some research because I wasn't even born then.
Anyway, the original Sid Pro was a no-frills shoe that was popular amongst skaters due to its suede upper, thick rubber sole and durability. The Supreme x Vans Sid Pro is pretty true to the original one. They've added a premium suede upper, leather lining and insole and a vulcanized waffle outsole. Supreme keeps the branding minimal as well with a gothic-style Supreme logo embroidered on the tongue. The sneaker is available in black, indigo, orange and a cream-and-black spotted colorway. Really wish they would've gone with a true Supreme red instead of the orange and gone for a dark/midnight blue over the indigo. I'm passing on the spotted cow version.
Overall, this is a nice addition for your streetbeast hype collection.
